Willingness to Pay for Centralized Modern Locust Bean Processing Equipment in Ekiti State, Nigeria

This study investigated the propensity to pay for modern apparatus processing locust beans in Ekiti State, Nigeria. Utilizing primary data and a multistage sampling strategy, 240 processors were chosen study. The collected analyzed utilizing descriptive statistics an inferential statistical instrument, such as Logit ordinary least square regression analysis. About 72 percent of married had average eight years experience legumes. majority respondents belonged cooperative group (66.7%) no access credit (100%). monthly income from was N18,000. (65%) unwilling service centralized, advanced or contemporary equipment. According results analysis, variables that significantly influence willingness centralized bean equipment household (1%), level education age (5%), size (10%). Ordinary Least Square (OLS) analysis reveals significant at 1% level, while marital status 5% level. suggests ready should form formidable secure grants loans establish cottage. government educate on food safety all levels.
